1948 - Ângelo Francisco Guerra founded, in Santa Catarina neighborhood, city of Caxias do Sul, state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, one of the first factories of road implements in Brazil - Guerra & Irmãos. In the beginning, he devoted himself to the manufacturing of animal-traction carts (regional means of transportation of the time).
1950 - The region of Caxias do Sul found itself in a period of intensive timber extraction (araucária pine tree), and to attend to the market the company produced the first trailer for timber transportation. The product consisted of wood, iron, and a single axle, adapted to a Ford-brand truck, year 1946.
1952 - With the importing of more powerful vehicles, and due to the need for the market to increase load capacity to be transported, the company started to install the third-axle system (Truck), which was assembled on a simple wheeling mechanism (of the Ford 46 truck), known at the time as "dead third axle".
1960 - In this year, there was the installation of the first heavyweight truck assemblers, thus generating greater development of transportation. Taking advantage of this moment of growth in the market of heavyweights, the company created its first drop-trailer project.
1962 - The company changed its corporate name for the first time, then being called A. Guerra & Marchett.
1964 - Again the company changes its corporate name, being then called Mecânica Rodoviária S/A.
1969 - Ângelo Francisco Guerra sold the control of Mecânica Rodoviária S/A.
